Join the DMRF for a day at the zoo to raise awareness and funds for dystonia research

The Twin Cities is one of 13 locations across the U.S. that will host a Zoo Walk in 2018. Last year, Zoo Walks in 12 cities drew over 5,000 participants. This will be a family-friendly community day at the Zoo to raise awareness about dystonia. Participants are invited to walk as much or as little as they would like; there are no mileage goals and no pledge money needed to participate in the Walk.

There will be games, face painting, refreshments, lots of door prizes, and some special guests.

Registration will open by 8:00AM
Fees: $25 for Adults /$15 for children (12 yrs and under). This includes access to the zoo, refreshments, and a t-shirt.

Event Timeline
8:00AM - 9:30AM - Gather at the picnic grounds for: check-in and same day registration, t-shirt pick-up, gather with team members, face painting for children, sponsor tables
9:30AM -10:00AM - Welcome, speakers from the medical community and the DMRF
10:00AM - Walk the zoo and spread the word about dystonia

Teams of 10 people or more will receive a custom team t-shirt. Teams must be completely registered by June 4 to ensure that your custom team t-shirt will be available. All t-shirts will be available for pick-up the morning of the event during registration - t-shirts will not be shipped.
